OUTSIDE IN Update – Big News and Oscars Fundraiser

For those of you who have not heard yet, “Outside In” has received the first large donation to the film. Several months ago, when I changed the film to not-for-profit venture after turning down the offers from investors, I hoped this would be the best move for the film and now things are now looking up for this new direction.

Of course, much more is needed, but this should be some solid momentum for further fundraising. More importantly, it’s enough money to resume production on the film. In addition, two companies, Toolfarm and Alfred Williams have stepped up with more donations of goods and services to help stretch the donation.

Finally, a friend and fellow filmmaker, Ioannis Batsios “Yanni” has stepped forward with a great fundraiser that everyone can help with:

Pick the Oscars” and win a prize! All you have to do is make your Oscar picks. The person with the most right picks (we have a tiebreaker question) will win a $250 gift card to Best Buy and runners up win 13 X 19 prints of Saturn. Even if you don’t know what to pick, you still can win. One entry will be drawn randomly and that person will win a $100 gift card.

You can enter as many times as you like and please sign up your friends, family and colleagues. Get a ballot or enter online here:

Thanks again to all of you who have supported the film.
